A new poll indicates a majority of Americans believe the country is worse off now than it was two years ago.

Seriously?  THAT ignorant?  Yes, I guess it’s true, then.

I realize how good we had it when I think of the world young people today are growing up in.

Cooking up a storm…

Seeing these bowls bring back such memories. My grandmother had bowls just like these that she used to mix up dough to make buns. After our big holiday meals at midday, we would have a second meal of leftover turkey on those buns. Other times, it would be leftover pork. The only other things on the bun were a thin spread of margarine and a sprinkling of salt. Simple food but I looked forward to those buns more than the main meal itself!
